Online Shopping Events

U.S. Labor Day Sale

Attractiveness of the Deals:★★★★☆

Labor Day in the United States of America is a public holiday on the first Monday in September to celebrate the achievements of workers. To take advantage of large numbers of potential customers with time to shop, Labor Day has become an important weekend for discounts and allowances by many retailers and e-tailers.

This year’s Labor Day is on September 2, yet it is believed that the majority of e-tailers will start offering discounts from August 31. Remember to follow us on Facebook so you won’t miss news on it!

Columbus Day Sale

Attractiveness of the Deals:★★★☆☆

Columbus Day is a national holiday in many countries of the Americas and elsewhere which officially celebrates the anniversary of Christopher Columbus’s arrival in the Americas on October 12, 1492.

It is also a pre-show to Black Friday deals. Stores will be offering massive savings on clothing (last year Shoes.com has offered 75% OFF!), appliances, and more during the long weekend. Since October is high travel season in the U.S., online outdoor shops’ discounts are likely to be higher.

Click Frenzy Go Wild

Attractiveness of the Deals:★★★★★

Click Frenzy is one of the largest discount platforms in Australia. It is inspired by and based on a similar format to the United States shopping event Cyber Monday. The event was launched on Tuesday, 20 November 2012 and this year’s Click Frenzy Go Wild event is on November 12. One of the craziest offers has happened on 2017’s Go Wild festival, where the member could purchase a PS4 at just AUD4!

Click Frenzy Go Wild is a member-exclusive event so be reminded to register a free account first!

Black Friday & Cyber Monday

Attractiveness of the Deals:★★★★★

Black Friday is an informal name for the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, which is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. On Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday (the first Monday following the Black Friday), retail and online prices heavily decrease (usually 50-70% OFF) for over 72 hours in an attempt to get people to splash the cash in the run-up to Christmas.

In the States customers often queue for hours, even days to get their hands on the best bargains. This year’s Thanksgiving is on November 28 and the Black Friday is on November 29, however, many e-tailers may start early bird sales at the beginning of November.

X’mas and Year-end Sale

Attractiveness of the Deals:★★★★☆

Another sale festival that needs no introduction. After Christmas, many retailers and e-tailer will also have huge sales with close-to Black Friday pricing. X’mas sale usually starts one week before X’mas, while most of the Year-end sale promotions last till January 1.
